Hi

I see that this weeks photo challenge is Fresh.    So having looked up Fresh in my electronic Thesaurus, I discovered there are quite a few different meanings.

One meaning  was food made with fresh ingredients.    Among the many words for this subject was raw. So how about raw eggs.

No, I didn’t break it specially for this post.   In fact I broke it last year for a photographic competition called Wrecked. Unfortunately there was some doubt as to whether a wrecked egg came under the heading of Wrecked.

Another meaning is clean or clear so……

……clear blue sky.

Of course, there is that expression “As Fresh as a Daisy”.

Taken about three years ago in a village outside Wincanton called Zeals.  At that time I only had a point-and-shoot camera.   Flowers I believe are called Moon Daisies.

Another meaning is clear and fresh.

A fresh wind had come in and blown away all the rain clouds and left us with all that cirrus up there.

But of course, let us not forget the fresh new leaves coming out in the Spring.

This fresh new leaf is from the Ash tree.

And then there is fresh water as opposed to sea water. Our rivers are mostly fresh water.

That down there is the mighty river Cale that flows through Wincanton.

A group of cows looked as if they might be coming on a bit fresh.

But in the end they were quite friendly.

Bye for now.
