Hi, This time for the black and white challenge Close Ups or Macros have come up. This first one does show a leaf or rather what’s left of it after this little fella has been at it.
Now who’s going to geuss what the next one is.
A sort of cryptic clue can give a coloured warning.
This next one hurts to touch.
Well it does have a sort of pink mauve colour.
As kids we used to blow on this……..
…..there used to be a rhyme that went with it, but I cannot remember what it is. Here is the yellow version.
Let’s go to another yellow flower.
Now what is this little green beastie.
This next reddish pink flower you can make wine out of…..
…..but not its white cousin.
Well that’s about it I think. Perhaps I should mention that all these flowers are wild.

I don’t particularly like snails but this one is really special. Nicely captured, especially with the vignette you seem to have added in post prod.

Thank you for your kind comment. I have only recently discovered vignetting and I am quite please with the result.

Great set of photos, Chris. Isn’t it interesting to look at flowers without color? The architecture of them truly stands out in a new way.

Hi Lynn
Yes it is interesting to see the individual design flowers, colour can sometimes get in the way. Hope all is well and thank you commentating.

I am glad you like them. The object of black and white is to bring out the detail without the distraction of colour. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Thank you for commentating.

Glad you liked it, a lot of people don’t like snails. Their shells can be quite pretty and they’re not as bad as slugs.
